We pay artisans about 3 times the local rate in their region. That's the condition for the craft (Kente weaving, bogolan dyeing, wax embroidery) to live on with the next generation.

All our partners are named on the site and in the Journal. No anonymous chain.

Every piece states its material origin (Mali, Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon…) and its workshop. When a wax comes from the Netherlands (Vlisco), we say so.

All our European shipments are offset via a certified program (Stiftung Klimaschutz Plus). Cost included in our shipping fees · no paid option on top.

We don't run massive sales nor Black Friday. Occasionally, some end-of-line pieces drop to -20% · never more, never in artificial urgency.

FSC-certified recycled cardboard boxes, tissue paper without toxic ink, kraft labels. No plastic in our parcels.

We know nothing is perfect. Our next steps: switching to a 100% electric carrier in Île-de-France (2026), full annual carbon report published on the site (2026), Paris upcycling workshop (2027).
